Maturity

Carl Jung said "Shift from dependence to independence is maturity".
I used to thought I was independent and able to take responsibility for myself, but it leads to the result of push myself too hard eventually. I used to hide the frustration I met, and blame on someone in my mind. It sounds like always happen anytime on anybody.
Although "nobody is perfect", I still cannot take this as an excuse. I used to had severe wound and it still hurt me now. But just as David said, to be mature is to face the frustration and overcome it intentionally. So I decide to face the events and discuss about them.
For the past 1 or 2 years, I always don't want to face my ex-ex-gf's left. And most important thing is, I ABANDON MYSELF. After watching some part of the coaching program, I found many of the methods are those I already know and put into practice few years ago but stop doing it right now. I used to be a totally rational guy, and there were not so much emotion affected me. I work hard and take full responsibility to it. But after she left, I tried to figure out "why she left me eventually while I was always keep rational". So I turn myself into an emotional-driven guy, who is too sensitive and doing whatever he wants, and almost seeking for instant result in every moment.
Half year ago, a girl came into my life and we spent 3 months together and broke up. I think we were both seeking the instant result from this relationship. This still hurts me, but not so severe than my ex-ex-gf did. Besides, I'm pretty glad I have such experience, otherwise I don't know when I will be awake from that emotional-driven me.
Those wounds are precious. If not those heartbreaking experiences, I'll never grow up. I hope I'll keep gain my internal power, and someday I can overcome them all by myself.
